New Volvo for Armoric

This little gem was on the Volvo stand at The Royal Cornwall Show last week. Although i’m not, as many of you are aware, the biggest Volvo fan, it is a truck, i like trucks, and its a smart one at that. Also i’ve Armoric have always caught my eye. They strike me a haulier who justs seems to get on with the job and always be on the move some where. On our way back up the M4 Saturday afternoon, we passed a DAF heading West again, just getting on with the job. Any other Armoric facts of Photos’s please email them to me truckblog@hotmail.co.uk

On the way to work this morning, i stoppped off at Old Pond Publishing in Ipswich to collect my copy’s (No. 149 & 150) of the newly released book by Ashley Coghill, The Long Haul Pioneers. Unfortunatly i was only able to flick through a couple of pages, but the few pictures i saw look priceless. If you have any interest in Middle East Trucking its got to be worth  buying a copy. ” So many questions! Most importantly the woman in the Clio was unharmed. Its just amazing, i guess with a wet road their may not be any tyre smoke. I don’t know what to say really, just amazing, i do think the Clio driver would have needed to change her pants when she got home though!!!
