O2 for V8

Rumour has it that image concious boss Graham Wilson has penciled a deal with company communications supplier, O2, to re-paint one of the company trucks with a joint O2 and England Rugby livery if England win this years 6 Nations Tourament. So could we see this truck with a new wrap in a few weeks, fingers crossed!!

ARMY MAN

After endless years of the M.O.D. trying all types of safety and preventitive equipment on all types of vehicles, it seems they have settled on fitting heavy duty mesh around their vehicles, in  the hope it’ll save the crew’s from explosions and other flying objects!! Good luck to who ever tested it out. “You sit in the cab and we’ll launch everything towards you and hopefully the steel mesh will do its job!”

Wilson’s on Euro Truck Simulator

This little beauty has been created by our very own Mr Rowlands. Although he says it needs tidying up a little, it still looks good as a first attempt. Apparently you can download the truck model from the internet, then you can customise it yourself. This one being based on the white livery of V8 HCW, Chris’s brothers truck. Have you designed your own truck on the compooter, why not send it to me so i can put it on here for all to see. Email me at ben@truckblog.co.uk

The driver and picture taker, Mr Richard Arnold, said he pulled up on the main road, got out took some pics, got back in the truck and carried on, in the mean time not one car passed him. Just imagine what it must be like to drive along a main road during the day with no traffic………………. Some thing you’ll never experience here in the UK!!

Off to Oz

After 4 days of pressure washing and belts removed, this screener is off to Southampton to hopefully emigrate to the other side of the world. For those of you who dont know, any machinery, plant, vehicles or any thing else for that matter heading to Austrailia has to be spotlessly clean in order to gain entry. This screener will come off the boat in Oz, be put into quarantine in the port, be washed down, and if any dirt comes off of it, it runs the risk of being put straight back on the boat to come back to the UK for more washing!
